It may not be Santa’s sleigh, but it’s built with more than one million LEGO® Technic elements, features more than 2,000 LEGO electric motors and more than 4,000 LEGO Technic gears, and is a one-of-a-kind replica of the world’s fastest production car….the first- ever life-size and drivable LEGO® Bugatti Chiron is on display at LEGOLAND® California Resort for the holidays for a limited time starting December 5.

The LEGO Bugatti Chiron took a team of designers and builders more than 13,000 hours to create the ultimate super sports car. Similar to the actual Chiron, the first fully-functional self-propelled Technic car is equipped with a rear spoiler, speedometer, front and back lights and detachable steering wheel that are all fully functional for this movable masterpiece. While the actual Chiron has been designed to reach record breaking speeds of 300 mph, the LEGO version is equally impressive as it has been engineered without the use of glue to keep the model together and allow it to be driven. The resemblance of the two cars from a distance is striking, but as guests get closer to the LEGO version, they will be amazed by the interconnected triangular segments that make up the body of this one- of- a-kind vehicle. You’ll need to catch it fast before it drives away!
